AgustaWestland will use AW101 NATO summit

AgustaWestland is providing an AW101 helicopter as a VIP transport at the NATO summit on 4-5 September.

The AW101 helicopter is provided by AgustaWestland and is being used by the NATO leaders as an VIP/executive helicopter transport during the summit being held in Newport, Wales.

The AW01 is a medium-sized helicopter that can be used for both military and civil missions and can carry up to 38 passengers. It was marketed as the EH101 until 2007, following the merger of Italy-based Agusta and the UK’s Westland Helicopters.
