AgustaWestland GrandNew begins New Zealand tour

An AgustaWestland GrandNew helicopter will begin a New Zealand demo tour on 4 April 2014.

AgustaWestland announced that its GrandNew helicopter will begin a six day demonstration tour of New Zealand.

The tour will start in New Plymouth on the west coast of North Island and will also include stops in Wellington, Dunedin and Wanaka before finishing in Auckland.

The demo tour will display to existing and potential customers the range of civil and public roles that the new helicopter can perform. The GrandNew is a twin-engine, eight-seat helicopter equipped with a new EFIS fitted with synthetic vision.

AgustaWestland has over 50 helicopters in Australia and New Zealand operating VIP/corporate, search and rescue, emergency medical service and many other missions.
