Bell completes delivery of last of four Bell 429 to NYPD

Bell Helicopter announces the final delivery of the fourth Bell 429 to the New York Police Department (NYPD) at the ALEA in Houston, Texas where the NYPD’s new Bell 429 was on display in the Textron booth.

The NYPD has two Bell 412EPs, a Bell 407 and now four Bell 429s in service for a variety of missions ranging from search and rescue at sea to gathering intelligence and combating terrorism.

The NYPD has been a Bell customer since 1948 when they took delivery of a Bell 47.
