Jet Transfer, an independent representative for Bell Helicopter in Moscow, signed an agreement for five Bell 429 helicopters and two Bell 407GXs at the Jet Expo 2013 show.

Three of the Bell 429s will be used for VIP and corporate transport for Jet Transfer customers. The remaining orders are undisclosed.

“The Bell 429’s impressive flight performance and state-of-the-art technology led to the selection of this aircraft for our corporate missions. The Bell 429 is quickly gaining popularity in our country because it exceeds the complex requirements of the Russian helicopter market,” said Alexander Evdokimov, general director of Jet Transfer.

The company has delivered nine aircraft into Russia in recent months, including five Bell 429 helicopters and the first Bell 407GX to be operated in the country.

“During the last two years, the Bell 429 has defined the new standard for corporate and VIP transport in Russia. With exceptional speed, a spacious and comfortable cabin, and a smooth ride, the Bell 429 is an excellent choice for business operations and is now the leading VIP helicopter on the light twin segment category,” said Patrick Moulay, Bell Helicopter’s managing director in Europe.

Bell Helicopter has increased its customer support in Russia by appointing the Kazan Aviation Enterprise as a Bell Helicopter customer service facility, and two independent representatives, Jet Transfer in Moscow and HeliDrive in Saint-Petersburg provide a full range of services to all Bell models operated in Russia.
