Bell 407GX gains FAA certificate

Bell Helicopter announced that its newest
version of the Bell 407, the Bell
407GX has earned FAA certification following its certification by Transport Canada
earlier this year.

The Bell
407GX was launched in February at the 2011 Heli-Expo in Orlando,
Bell has
received more than 60 orders. Bell
expects to deliver the first 407GX later this year.

The helicopter is equipped with the Garmin
G1000HTM integrated glass cockpit.
