AgustaWestland has delivered two AW139 helicopters to Brunei Shell.

The delivery of the two helicopters to Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd happened six months after the contract was awarded. The aircraft will be used to perform offshore transport missions from Brunei Shell’s Anduki base in Brunei and they will benefit from the power-by-the-hour support package delivered by AgustaWestland Malaysia from its Kuala Lumpur facility.

Vincenzo Alaimo, AgustaWestland’s head of regional sales for SE Asia, said: “We are delighted to add Brunei Shell to the list of operators now flying the AW139 for offshore oil and gas support. We look forward to supporting these aircraft from our regional hub here in Malaysia and are sure the AW139s performance and comfort will be greatly appreciated by both the aircrew and passengers.”
