Erickson Incorporated, a manufacturer and operator of commercial helicopters, has made a number of leadership changes, appointing Gary Scott, a director of the company, as chairman of the board, and also adding Jeff Roberts, recently retained as the company’s new CEO, to the board

Scott will succeed Quinn Morgan, who remains a member of the board, while Kenneth Lau has resigned from the board to create a second vacancy.

Gary Scott, Erickson’s incoming chairman of the board, said: “We are pleased to take this opportunity to reconstitute and refresh our board of directors and to reinforce our commitment to independent governance.”

Erickson is a provider of aviation services. It specialises in oil and gas support, government services, MRO, firefighting, powerline inspection, oversized loads including aerial timber logging.

The company, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and operates a fleet of 86 rotary-wing (light, medium and heavy) and fixed-wing aircraft, including 20 heavy-lift S-64 Aircranes.
