Eurocopter X3 arrives in Washington

Eurocopter X3The Eurocopter X3
arrived in Manassas, VA, where the aircraft performed a flight
demonstration for dignitaries, local elected officials, company employees and
the media.  The Washington,
DC, metro area is the final leg
of flight demonstrations for civil and military customers across the country.

The tour began at American
Eurocopter in Grand Prairie, Texas
and then moved around the country being flown at the Huntville Redstone Army
Arsenal and at Fort
Bragg. It is due to fly
later this week at Fort
Belvoir and then on 26
July at the Pentagon.

“We are extremely pleased to
bring the X3 here to the Washington, DC area for the final leg of its highly successful US tour,”
said American Eurocopter president and chief executive, Marc Paganini.  “I
am confident that the aerospace community and military leaders here will be as
impressed as all of the customers who have already experienced this
cutting-edge technology.”
