FAA issue validation on EASA STC for AW139 EMS interior

Aerolite has received an FAA validation for
a previously issued EASA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for a new lightweight
EMS interior for the AW139.

Aircraft with this interior fit will be
easily converted from an EMS or SAR
configuration to an 8 to 11 passenger VIP helicopter.

The spacious cabin arrangement allows for a
multitude of missions including single and dual patient EMS
and is compatible with FLIR, rappelling, fast rope and hoisting equipment. The
location of the stretcher systems, stowage provisions and sliding swiveling
seating benefit each mission profile. Aerolite has been awarded contracts for
11 interiors for 2 different undisclosed US customers to be delivered during
2011 and 2012.
