Finmeccanica appoints Alessandro Pansa

Alessandro Pansa becomes chief executive officer and chief operating officer at Finmeccanica.

The board of directors of Finmeccanica confirms that the company is fully operational and has appointed Alessandro Pansa, the powers and duties previously held by Giuseppe Orsi, insuring comprehensive management of the company and the group.

Alessandro Pansa becomes chief executive officer and chief operating officer with immediate effect. The board has also appointed Admiral Guido Venturoni as vice chairman, he is the most senior member of the board and lead independent director.

Lastly, the board has resolved to convene the shareholder meeting on April 2, 2013 at the first call and on April 15. 2013 at the second call, in order to complete the composition of the board.

Finmeccanica is the parent company of AgustaWestland.
