Metro delivers H125 to Coastal Helicopters

California-based Coastal Helicopters has taken delivery of a new Airbus Helicopters H125 (formerly the AS350 B3e).  Coastal Helicopters now has a fleet of six various helicopters.

Coastal Helicopters provides helicopters for production work, executive charter and contracting with the US Forestry Service.

The new Airbus Helicopters H125 features a utility configuration and avionics include the G500H and GTN 650/750.

“We are looking forward to utilising the updated state-of-the-art panel and getting an exclusive use contract with the US Forestry Service,” said the Coastal representative.

Metro Aviation started in 1982 as a helicopter charter, training and maintenance company. The company moved into the medical helicopter service business in 1983 when it converted two Hughes 500D helicopters.
