Milestone delivers two Sikorsky S-92 helicopters to CITIC
Two Sikorsky S-92 helicopters have been delivered by Milestone Aviation Group on lease to CITIC Offshore Helicopter Company (COHC).
The S-92s will join one S-92 already on lease to COHC and support COHC’s offshore oil and gas passenger flight services.
Milestone leased its first S-92 helicopter from Milestone for offshore operations in 2014, according to Michael York, head of Emerging Markets at Milestone.
Chen Hongyun, general manager assistant and head of Procurement, COHC said: “We appreciate Milestone’s continued support and smooth cooperation with the lease of a further two S-92 helicopters, which is another win-win achievement.”
COHC is a Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed company, which operates offshore helicopter services and is part of the CITIC Group. Pictured is a Milestone Sikorsky S-92 helicopter.
Meanwhile, in October Milestone Aviation signed three helicopter lease agreements with PHI Aviation. The deals included the placement and extension of two Sikorsky S92 helicopters and one Leonardo AW139 helicopter.
