NHV has brought an Airbus H225 in from Norway to Aberdeen for demonstration flights to potential customers.

From its normal base at Kristiansund in Norway, the H225 completed a two hour ferry flight to Stavangar on this Saturday, followed by a further similar length flight to Aberdeen on Sunday.

It then was transferred to what is thought to be the Alba rig which is already supported by Airbus H175 helicopters from the same operator. This morning the helicopter landed at Wick airport and has carried out a further demonstration flight to the south east of the airport.

The aircraft involved is LN-OYW, sister ship to the H225 pictured. NHV currently operates three helicopters from UK bases – two H175s from Aberdeen and a single AW139 from Norwich.
