Russian Helicopters sees good prospects in Brazil

                        Russian Ka-62
Russian Helicopters will
showcase its range of helicopters in Brazil this week, at the LAAD Defense & Security expo in Rio de Janeiro.

The Russian company already made its commitment to Brazil clear
after signing the first export contract in December 2012, outlining the main parameters for deliveries of Russian-built Ka-62 helicopters to Atlas Táxi Aéreo, a Brazillian business aircraft operator.

Atlas Táxi Aére will add seven to fourteen of the new medium multirole Ka-62 helicopters to its fleet, which already includes a Russian-built Mi-171A1s helicopter.

The new helicopters will be used to serve Brazil’s oil and gas sector.
