Fishtail Air flew an air ambulance mission
in one of their Eurocopter AS350 helicopters to rescue Alena Murray, a Scottish
woman who was at the Machapuchre base camp. The camp is 12,136 feet above
sea-level.

Alena and her friend Pablo Zervas, both from
Scotland
were on expedition when she fell ill and it was realised that she had appendicitis.
The Fishtail Air helicopter was called to help
rescue the patient.

She was flown immediately to hospital in Kathmandu for treatment.
