Singapore – Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia orders two AW189s

Finmeccanica Helicopters has announced an order by TPG Aeronautik of Malaysia for two AW189s.

The helicopters will be operated by the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia) for firefighting, search and rescue and disaster relief missions. They will be delivered in 2017.

Finmeccanica’s Helicopter Division also delivered two AW139s to Galaxy Aviation in Malaysia. The two helicopters will be operated for corporate and executive transport. South East Asia continues to be one of the fastest growing market for Finmeccanica and its Helicopter Division.
