The Avincis Group has announced the appointment of Ian Kümmerlin as regional CEO Latin America, with immediate effect.

Based in Santiago, Chile, Kümmerlin will be responsible for further developing Avincis’ business in the region, which includes subsidiaries Inaer Chile and Inaer Peru who last year flew 3,650 hours of mission-critical services, including over 300 emergency medical missions and fighting 880 fires.

Avincis Group CEO James Drummond said: “I am delighted that Ian will be joining our global team.  Every day, lives and livelihoods depend on the services we provide.  Ian’s experience and expertise will allow us to continue to grow our Latin American business whilst remaining focused on our goal of zero accidents.”

Ian Kümmerlin said: “My focus will be on helping to build a strong leadership team and the robust operating platform that will allow both Inaer and Avincis to fulfil its potential to become a leader player in the region.”
