New York DEP Police choose AW119Kx for surveillance operations

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection Police (DEP police) have chosen the AW119Kx to support operations protecting the City’s drinking water resources.

The helicopter will be outfitted in the law enforcement configuration and is expected to be delivered in 2018.

More than 280 AW119s have been ordered by nearly 120 customers since its introduction in 2000.
