VALC hands over a Eurocopter EC155 B1

VALC and VNH handover ceremonyVietnam Aircraft Leasing
Company (VALC) handed over a Eurocopter EC155 B1 helicopter to Northern Vietnam
Helicopter Corporation (VNH North) on 5 November during a ceremony at Gia Lam
Heliport, Hanoi.
The handover was in the presence of the Civil Aviation Administration of
Vietnam, Ministry of Defense, Vietnam
Helicopter Corporation, Vietnam Airlines, EADS and Vinacopter Vietnam.

Captain Tran Xuan Dinh,
director of VNH North, said: “In 2011, VNH North has implemented several market
assessments for helicopter services field, which found that it has great
potential. That is the reason why the company should continue to further
develop the number of helicopters to meet market’s need.”

Mr. Tran Long, VALC general
director, asserted at the ceremony: “Modern and comfort, safety and efficiency
are what VALC wants to bring to Vietnamese market with the EC155-B1.”
