Vertical Flight Expo acquired by PRYSM Group

The Vertical Flight Expo – previously known as HeliTech International – has been acquired by PRYSM Group from Reed Exhibitions.

This comes just a year after the annual European helicopter market trade show was rebranded from HeliTech International to what we know now as the Vertical Flight Expo. The rebranding also came alongside a change in location from Amsterdam in 2018, to Farnborough Airport in 2019.

In a letter to attendees, Christian Yandell, managing director of PRYSM Group, said: “We have great plans for the event, and can’t wait to give it the Prysm touch, implementing our core values of education, innovation, and providing unparalleled opportunities for our highly targeted range of visitors.”

PRYSM organises trade shows across several industries, predominately in the catering and accommodation spaces, but this will be the company’s first foray into the aviation market. Vertical Flight Expo will be run by two PRYSM managing directors – Christian Yandell and Nick Woore.

Nick Woore added: “I am absolutely thrilled to have been given the chance to take the Vertical Flight Expo & Conference to new heights in the next era for a show that has been part of the European exhibition scene since 1986.
