ADAC HEMS Academy team at Helitech 2011ADAC HEMS Academy will exhibiting at Helitech 2011 and showcasing its new EC145 full flight simulator and other services.

The company received approval from the Federal Aviation Authority (LBA) on 7 September 2011, so the academy’s second simulator “takes off” and is available for training.

The new simulator is the only one certified full-flight simulator worldwide for EC145 helicopters. The Academy has now a complete range of flight simulator for helicopter pilots with both EC135 and EC145 simulators at the training centre at Bonn-Hangelar airfield.

The original cockpit provides a fullscreen-monitor with realistic flight model representation. The new simulator offers new training possibilities, for example, multi-crew cockpit training (MCC) in the EC145.
