AW189 completes North Sea demo tour

AgustaWestland has completed a successful North Sea demo tour of the AW189 helicopter. During the tour, more than 60 attendees from oil and gas companies, operators and associations took the opportunity to check out the new helicopter.

The tour, which started in Den Helder in the Netherlands and ended in Stavanger, Norway. The company gave presentations, static and inflight demonstrations to the attendees.

The AgustaWestland AW189 is already flying in Europe, Middle East and Asia providing offshore transport services. Operators based in Europe such as Bristow and Bel Air have already introduced the type into service in the North Sea supporting the oil & gas industry.
