Bell names Al Vetere new CFO

Bell Helicopter has announced that Al Vetere has assumed the role of chief financial officer.

Formerly vice president, Financial Military Programs at Bell Helicopter, Vetere brings more than 30 years of experience.

“We are honoured to have Al stepping up as our new CFO. His vast knowledge of finance and business management as well as military contracts, combined with his negotiating ability and his talent for building trust and confidence with the customer are exceptional and make him the ideal candidate for this role. I am confident Al will build on the solid foundation already set and take our finance team to the next level,” said John Garrison, Bell Helicopter’s president and CEO.

Bell Helicopter’s former CFO, Tony Viotto will retire at the end of 2013. For the next six months, Viotto will remain an integral part of Bell Helicopter’s leadership team as executive vice president, Integrated Business Planning and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning.
