Columbia River Bar Pilots set to receive a GrandNew

AgustaWestland GrandNewRiver Pilots select a GrandNew as fleet replacement for an AW109

AgustaWestland has announced that the GrandNew helicopter has been
selected by the Columbia River Bar Pilots in Oregon. The GrandNew will replace the
existing AW109 Power helicopter that has served as their transport since the
early 2000’s.

The GrandNew helicopter will modernise their ship pilot operations that
service the approaches to the famous Columbia River.

is globally recognised as one of the most demanding and treacherous stretches
of water in the world.
