DanCopter takes delivery of first AW139

AgustaWestland AW139AgustaWestland has announced
that DanCopter, a Blueway AS company, has taken delivery of the first of five
AW139 helicopters.

This aircraft will be used for offshore transport operations
in Nigeria.

An initial order for three AW139s was placed in 2010 which was followed by
contracts for two additional aircraft signed earlier this year.

The orders are
part of a framework agreement covering the purchase of a total of five AW139s
with options for another additional four helicopters.
