EagleMed is a subsidiary of Air Medical Group Holdings.

EagleMed LLC, an air medical transport service in the US, is celebrating its tenth anniversary of supporting Freeman Health System from its base in Joplin, Missouri.

EagleMed bases a Eurocopter AS355N helicopter at Joplin’s Freeman Hospital West and serves Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

“Freeman Health System’s role in our community is very clear—to provide quality, innovative lifesaving care. This mission is often made possible because of the experience and efficiency of EagleMed staff,” said Paula Baker, president and chief executive officer of Freeman Health System.

“Accidents occur without warning and these past 10 years EagleMed has joined Freeman in saving countless individuals whose lives have been touched unexpectedly by such tragedy. We are proud of the care we have given alongside EagleMed staff and look forward to saving countless more lives,” Baker added.

“We have been privileged for the past 10 years to provide essential critical care air medical transport services in partnership with Freeman Health System and the surrounding communities,” said EagleMed president Larry Bugg. “It is a perfect relationship in that we share the common values of safety, world-class patient care, caring for each other and the patients and communities we serve.”
