Eurocopter has rebranded itself as Airbus Helicopters.

Eurocopter has official rebranded itself as Airbus Helicopters, after the helicopter manufacturer’s holding company, EADS, announced that it had changed its name to the Airbus Group.

“This rebranding works hand in hand with our ongoing transformation, which is now bolstered by the Airbus brand’s strong foundation in innovation, quality and industrial excellence,” said Guillaume Faury, president of Airbus Helicopters.

“Both of these together will serve our ambition of setting the industry standard in terms of safety, mission capability and performance for our operators around the world,” added Faury.

The naming and designations of Airbus Helicopters’ products remain at present unchanged in the new branding, while the the Eurocopter website has migrated to a new identity.
