Heli-Expo – Bell details production data for 2015
Bell 525 Relentless
Bell has confirmed their civilian production data for 2015. The American-based manufacturer built 175 helicopters at its Canadian plant at Mirabel.
The total includes includes 52 Bell 429s, 12 Bell 412EP and EPI models, 99 Bell 407 GX and the newer GXPs and finally 12 206L4 LongRanger IVs.
Bell delivered 28 commercial helicopters in the Pacific Rim, 69 in North America, 31 in Latin America and 47 to EMEA – Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Early in 2016 the company delivered the first of two hundred Bell 407GXPs to Air Methods. It was revealed at the Helicopter Investor conference in London that 70% will replace existing helicopters in their fleet and 30% are for expansion.
