Helibras delivers second EC130 to State of Parana

Eurocopter EC130Helibras has delivered a
second Eurocopter EC130 helicopter to the State Government of Parana, Brazil. The
helicopter will be used by the local emergency services as an aerial platform.

It can be fitted for a number of specific missions from police, security patrols and as an air ambulance that can carry all the medical
equipment needed by a doctor and nurse who will be able to travel with the
patient carried on a stretcher inside the helicopter.

The first helicopter
operated by the State of Parana was used earlier this year when heavy rain in
the Serra Fluminense mountains flooded
the State of Rio
de Janeiro.

The first helicopter has also aided other rescue missions in the
south of the country in mid year.
