Helicopter Services Malta Limited

Geneva, 28th May 2018 – A full-service helicopter management solution for both helicopter and superyacht owners covering the Mediterranean and beyond is being launched at this year’s EBACE, Helicopter Services Malta Limited (HSML).

For the first time, all of the services that helicopter and superyacht owners need; including sourcing, buying, staffing, maintaining, registering and upgrading, will be available through a single solution from industry experts Helicopter Services Malta. To achieve this, HSML combines aviation and technology experts with experienced professionals from the world of customer service.

The Helicopter Services Malta team includes CEO Alessandro Rostirolla, whose career in private aviation spans 20 years, and tax expert CFO Samantha Snow who is highly experienced in the registration and importation of aircraft.

“Historically the helicopter business has been focussed on technological excellence and the highest standards of safety – and rightly so. But the sector is fragmented and often lacks coordination from the point of view of clients. As a result, managing a helicopter has meant that they’ve had to work with a variety of different people,” says CEO Alessandro Rostirolla. “It’s for this reason that we’ve created a complete helicopter management solution with a focus on the kind of excellent customer service that owners demand.”

The company’s founders decided on Malta as a base for two reasons. “The location is perfect for those with superyachts in the Mediterranean, and Malta also has a sophisticated but transparent financial services sector which, along with its aviation-related fiscal incentives, allows us to source the best solutions for our clients.” says Samantha Snow. The company also has offices and hanger space in Italy and France.

Purchasing, maintaining and refurbishing a helicopter takes care, attention and money. Therefore, HSML’s team of highly trained and well-equipped technicians are based around the Mediterranean for maximum mobility, and each technician has state-of-the-art maintenance technology, connected in real time through the use of tablets and cloud technology.
