Helistar of Colombia orders two AW139s

Helistar de Aviacion of Colombia has signed a contract for two AW139 helicopters from AgustaWestland.

This marks the first AW139 sale in Latin American country and the first offshore AW139 in Spanish South America. The aircraft is expected to be delivered in 2015.

The contract signing took place during Expodefensa 2014 in Bogotà, Colombia. Over 800 AW139s have now been ordered worldwide by approximately 220 customers.
