Hospital Wing purchases EC130 B4 helicopter

Eurocopter AS350 Hospital Wing Hospital Wing (Memphis Medical Center Air Ambulance Service) has purchased an Eurocopter EC130 B4 from
American Eurocopter.

The aircraft is undergoing a medical interior completion at Wysong, the new EC130 B4 is scheduled to enter service in May, joining Hospital Wing’s current fleet of six Eurocopter AS350 B3es.

“The Eurocopter EC130 B4 will provide an expanded level of patient care and increased program capability,’” said Hospital Wing CEO and flight director Bill Conway. “Our goal is a managed transition to the EC130 aircraft as our AStars are phased out.”

“American Eurocopter has enjoyed working with Hospital Wing for more than 25 years,” said Treg Manning, American Eurocopter’s vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing. “We are proud to be the sole provider of helicopters for the important work they do and we look forward to our continued relationship in the coming years.”
