HUBI-FLY takes delivery of AS350 helicopter

Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2

HUBI-FLY has taken delivery of an Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2.

The helicopter will be used on a number of missions including power-line inspection, training, aerial photography and filming. The Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2 will be based in Vienna, Austria and will join another AS350 B2 and AS355 F2.

Manuel Gruber, flight operations manager of HUBI-FLY, said: “We have chosen the AS350 B2 because it is a well-proven aircraft for muti-mission performance, with low operating costs, powerful capabilities and enhanced safety features. We have customised the aircraft configuration to meet the specific mission requirements of our customers.”

Romain Trapp, president, Airbus Helicopters Canada said: “We are pleased that HUBI-FLY has decided to expand their fleet once again with Airbus Helicopters. We were delighted to utilise our capabilities to customize the aircraft here at our facility in Fort Erie, Ontario.”

The Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2 is capable of carrying six passengers and one pilot.

Airbus Helicopters Canada is celebrating its 30 year anniversary in 2014.
