Market analysis: Pre-owned helicopter sales increase
JETNET releases the company’s overview of the helicopter market in 2013 to tie-in with Heli-Expo 2014.
The turbine helicopter market experienced an 11.4 per cent increase in the number for pre-owned sales in 2013 compared to 2012, according to new data from JETNET.
From 2006 to 2012, the average number of days spent on the market for each helicopter increased from 123 days to 432 days. However, in 2013 the average selling time for a helicopter fell by 18 to an average of 414 days.
The percentage for sale also increased to 6.4 per cent compared to 6.1 cent from just a year ago.
