Lockheed Martin receives final approval to acquire Sikorsky

Lockheed Martin has received the final regulatory approval needed to acquire Sikorsky Aircraft from United Technologies.

The completion of the regulatory review by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China marks the end of a successful and comprehensive regulatory review process in eight jurisdictions.

Lockheed Martin should close the acquisition on 6 November 2015.
