Maverick Helicopters and Las Vegas Motor Speedway re-sign contract

Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas has re-signed a contract with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to be the exclusive helicopter operator for events at the motor complex. This will include the NASCAR weekend, corporate functions and other events.

Through this agreement, Maverick Helicopters will manage the heliport and work with the speedway and its entities to transfer guests and celebrities to events.

Chris Powell, president of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, said: “We have had a long-standing relationship with Maverick Helicopters, and we’re excited to see that relationship continue to grow for many more years.”

“Maverick Helicopters provides exceptional service to all of our guests who choose to fly into the speedway whether it be for NASCAR, Electric Daisy Carnival or our many corporate events throughout the year,” added Powell.

The flights are 15-minute to the speedway, passengers will see aerial views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding mountain ranges using the Airbus Helicopters EC130 ECO-Star helicopter.

Maverick Helicopters, is a division of Maverick Aviation Group based in Nevada. It also operates in Arizona and coming later in 2015 the company will begin operations in Hawaii.
