The world-famous rock band Kiss made a night-time landing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to kick-start their residency, which started at The Joint on 5 November 2014.

The helicopter was an Airbus Helicopters’ EC130 T2 operated by Las Vegas-based Maverick Helicopters.

Band members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer were welcomed by more than 1,000 fans as they cheered in excitement for the epic aerial arrival.

Before starting the encore, Kiss showed their commitment to helping veterans by presenting retired US Army Staff Sergeant John Hosea, a combat-wounded war hero, and his wife Sarah a newly-renovated, mortgage-free home in Las Vegas.
