NHV completes Blueway acquisition

NHV Group has completed the acquisition of Norway’s Blueway. The new group becomes one of Europe’s largest helicopter operators. The group is also the first operator of the new Airbus Helicopters EC175.

The EC175s were delivered on 11 December and the helicopters are already flying operations in the North Sea.

With the acquisition of Blueway, the NHV Group becomes the only operator with a presence in all the oil and gas producing countries in the North Sea region, as well as a leading position in West Africa.

The NHV Group is based in Ostend, Belgium and consists of various companies: NHV, DanCopter A/S, Blueway Offshore Norge AS, Vertech Offshore As and Airlift AS.
