Pegaso signs agreement for 10 H145s

Mexican operator Transportes Aéreos Pegaso has purchased 10 Airbus Helicopters H145s

The company are the first in Latin America to order the helicopter.

Deliveries will begin in 2016 and continue for seven years.

The H145s will replace Pegaso’s current lightweight rotorcraft fleet that includes 16 EC145s and four EC135s.

The company is also the Latin American launch customer for new H175 – with three aircraft to be delivered from 2016.

Francisco Navarro, general manager of the Airbus Helicopters de México customer centre said: “We highly value the longstanding partnership with Pegaso, and appreciate its confidence in our products. Pegaso can count on the best-in-class support to guarantee the highest availability of its new rotorcraft.”

The H145s will be configured to provide services to the oil & gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico.

Enrique Zepeda, CEO of Pegaso said: “The EC145 has performed very well in our operations, and we look forward to experiencing the enhanced capabilities of the new H145 version.”
