Russian Helicopters signs 30 helicopter deal with GTLK at MAKS 2017

Russian Helicopters signed a 30 helicopter deal with Russian lessor State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) at MAKS 2017.

The agreement will see the manufacturer supply 12 Mi-8AMTs, six Mi-8MTV-1s and 12 Ansat helicopters with delivery expected to begin in summer 2018.

Both parties are set to benefit from the promotion of the new Russian-made civil helicopters – Russian helicopters claimed. the agreement will also see both companies provide mutual advisory, expert, organizational, methodological and information support.

Director deneral of Russian Helicopters holding company Andrey Boginsky said: “GTLK is the largest Russian aircraft leasing company and also successfully implements series of international projects, which will help Russian Helicopters to promote exports of its new civil helicopters.  The product range of the holding company has been significantly renewed and we are going to promote series of civil helicopter models in the international markets and the cooperation with such a big company as GTLK will favour solving this task.”

Andrey Boginsky and director general of GTLK Sergey Hramagin signed the agreement at the Russian Aviation last week.
