Russian Helicopters will display full-range at HeliRussia 2013

Russian Helicopters will display its full range of helicopters at HeliRussia 2013, being held in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow from May 16 – 18, 2013.

The company will present a number of advanced projects for the commercial market, including the new Ka-226T, Ansat (pictured above), Mi-171A2, Ka-62 and Mi-38. The first medium civil AW139 helicopter assembled by the joint Russian-Italian venture HeliVert may also be presented to the Russian market at the exhibition.

Russian helicopters will be taking part in the Second Interdepartmental Conference on Russian Air Ambulances and Medical Evacuation on May 16-17 being held at HeliRussia. The event is held under the auspices of Russian Ministry of Health and Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Ansat and Ka-226T can be used as medevac helicopters. The Ansat has the most spacious passenger/cargo cabin in its class and the Ka-226T is capable of landing in urban areas and on unprepared landing sites to evacuate the injured to hospital.
