SaxonAir adds a Dancopter Airbus Helicopter EC155 to its rotary AOC.

DanCopter EC155 B1 added to SaxonAir fleet

SaxonAir, the UK aircraft operator, has taken delivery of an Airbus Helicopters EC155 – the first helicopter in its fleet.

The helicopter owned by Dancopter will be configured in a corporate layout for 10 passengers. The EC155 B1 can fly for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Max Randall of SaxonAir Helicopter Operations says: “ We are really looking forward in working with Dancopter on bringing this unique and versatile helicopter to the UK and European charter markets. The aircraft is fantastic at moving large amounts of people into private sites in a quick and comfortable manner, for example sporting events and music festivals.”

The helicopter will be based at SaxonAir’s headquarters at Norwich Airport..

The EC155 is able to fly from London to Manchester in under an hour.
