VNH South leases two Mi-172s for Indonesian operations

Vietnam operator VNH South will this week start a new six month lease involving a pair of Mil Mi-172 helicopters.

It marks the first time that VNH South has provided helicopters to another operator under a contract involving not just the aircraft, but with a full support package including pilots, technicians, maintenance and insurance.

VNH will be flying the aircraft from 15 April for operator Komala Indonesia for passenger, cargo transport and fire fighting work in Indonesia. The country is also a new market for VNH South.
