Weststar Aviation Services secures new contracts in Asia

Weststar Aviation Services has secured a contract worth over $100 million to provide two AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters for Carigali Hess Operating Company (CHOC) and Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company (CPOC).

Joint oil and gas exploration operating companies under the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority (MTJA), CHOC and CPOC will be utilising Weststar Aviation Services 15-seater AW139 helicopter.

The two helicopters will be based at Weststar Aviation’s Kota Bharu base in Kelantan. The contract is for five years starting in April 2015.

Weststar Aviation Services Sdn Bhd (WASSB) is a Malaysian based company that provides offshore helicopter transportation services to the oil and gas industry.
