HI Uplift: Lift-off for our London 2025 conference next Wednesday

If our HI London 2025 conference was a helicopter, it would be on the FATO (final approach and take-off area) undergoing the last checks before lift-off at a central London hotel on Wednesday June 4th.
The conference sessions are set and the 50-or-so speakers have made their travel arrangements. Their mission: to share insights on the dynamic world of helicopter investment and operations worldwide. Alongside the presentations and discussion panels, there will be exclusive news of a major new investment in the sector plus our first Helicopter Investor Awards.
Optimism in the helicopter industry is nothing new (who could forget 2014?). But this time, the optimism appears to be underpinned by real demand – not least replacement demand to replenish ageing helicopter fleets approaching the end of their primary life missions worldwide.
So, if your business serves the civil helicopter industry, our London conference is the place to be next week. And if a topic touches helicopter investment, we have tried to ensure it’s covered at our conference.

The future of leasing
Helicopter deals and finance are a key theme with sessions dedicated to the future of leasing, managing end-of-lease assets, opportunities with smaller assets and much more.
There’s a focus too on operations, as we probe the profitability of charter operations and hear business insights from the CEO of one leading offshore and onshore operator, maintenance and training provider.
Leading helicopter manufacturers will explain how technologies – new and well-established – are boosting the performance and efficiency of rotorcraft while improving their sustainability record.
Our conference aims to uncover the megatrends shaping the industry and how they are likely to impact the profitability of industry players. There’s sector specific information too on configuring helicopters and planning businesses around critical missions such as search-and-rescue, firefighting and emergency medical services. Sustainability topics and negotiating the rising tide of regulation also receive consideration.
Exclusive news
Taking a break from the conference sessions, we will reveal exclusive news of a major new initiative in helicopter financing. This will involve the introduction of welcome new capital into the helicopter financing industry.
New too, will be the presentation of the first (but not last) Helicopter Investor Awards – also known as the Rotary Oscars. (I can now confide that Hollywood’s Academy Awards are considering rebranding as the Helicopter Investor Awards of the movie industry).
This year, five awards will be made – Deal of the Year 2025, Most Innovative Deal, M&A Deal, Lessor Financing Deal and Sale and Leaseback of the Year. (Big thanks to our dedicated panel of independent industry insiders who helped us pick the deserving winners in each category).
Networking
In addition to the conference presentations, panel discussions and our new awards, there will be plenty of networking opportunities too. This is your opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones and to forge new business partnerships that will last all year and beyond.
The evening before the conference starts, delegates are invited to join us for a pre-conference networking reception at 18:00 on Tuesday night. Conference registration opens the next day at 08:15.
After the conference session closes there will be a Networking Cocktail Reception followed by an Historic Public House Walking Tour featuring two of London’s oldest pubs with a combined history of nearly 500 years. Traditional London beer (other drinks will also be available) along with great conversations will both be on tap.

Meanwhile, see you next week at our Helicopter Investor London 2025 conference. It promises to be an exciting ride – don’t forget to buckle your safety belt.
