HI Forums probe helicopter finances & HEMS at European Rotors

More than 20 aircraft will attend this year's event. Pictured is an arrival at last year's show.
Visiting European Rotors in Cologne, Germany next week? Then, why not make a date to attend HI’s two Finance Forums on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 18th in Rheinsaal 5 in Congress Centre North at the Kölnmesse, Cologne Exhibition Centre.
One 45-minute discussion panel, starting at 16:00, will take the temperature of finances in the civil helicopter market. Just two of the questions under consideration will be: Does the industry have sufficient access to capital and what evidence is there the industry has learned the lessons of the past? (We would welcome other questions to be sent here).
Taking the temperature of helicopter finances will be: Raphael Naim, Investment director, RIVE Private Investment, Olivier Piot, CEO, Nova Capital and Michael York, CEO, GD Helicopter Finance.
Helicopter Investor’s forum dedicated to the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services market will start at 15:15. In this 45-minute session we will ask: How successful are the different models of funding services; which European countries are hotspots of growth and why? Plus, what are the key opportunities and threats facing growth in Europe, what are the most popular assets and are eVTOLS likely to play a role in the HEMS industry?
Joining this panel discussion \will be Gerard Deterne, CEO and founder, Pteron Valuations, Sara Dhariwal, principal aviation analyst and lead appraiser – Helicopters & AAM, Cirium Ascend Consultancy and Simon Tye, chief commercial officer from Avincis Group.
If you would like to put a question to one or both of our expert panels, or find more information about either event, please email Mike Stones.
Meanwhile, European Rotors will take place between Tuesday 17th – Thursday 20th November 2025, with exhibits open between November 18th – November 20th.
