Singapore – Four Bell 429s sold into Indonesia

Bell has has sold four 429 helicopters in Indonesia.

Two Bell 429s were sold to the Indonesian Police Force. The government agency last ordered helicopters directly from the manufacturer 40 years ago.

The Indonesian Police currently operates 18 Enstrom 480s, three Airbus AS365N3 Dauphins, three JetRangers and one Bell 412. The fleet also includes 21 Bolkow Bo105s built under licence by Nurtanio and around ten Mil Mi-2s.

A second pair will by the Flight Calibration Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation.

The aircraft will be used to perform instrument calibration for Helicopter Ground Instrument Landing and Departing Systems at airports, heliports and helipads.
