Xinjang Tianyun General Aviation Company signs agreement for a Bell 407GX

Bell Helicopter has announced that the Xinjiang Tianyun General Aviation Company has signed a purchase agreement for a new Bell 407GX. The helicopter will be used for sightseeing tours, VIP transport and agriculture support.

Chris Jaran, managing director for Bell Helicopter in China, said: “We are excited to help Xinjang Tianyun continue to expand their footprint within the region.”

“The Bell 407GX combines proven performance with a modern glass cockpit, giving Xinjang the flexibility to handle a number of mission types with this aircraft safely and effectively,” added Jaran.

Zhu Yue, executive director and founder of Xinjiang Tianyun GA, said: “We are delighted to select the Bell 407GX to be our first helicopter. It is incredibly durable and versatile, exactly what our company was looking for to fit the types of missions we are planning.”

The Bell 407GX carries six passengers and the Garmin G1000 flight deck. The 407GX also features a tail rotor camera, allowing the pilot a clear view of the tail during take-offs and landings.
