Blade to offer expanded flight service at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas

NBAA is to expand its partnership with Blade to fly visitors between the Las Vegas convention centre and Henderson airport.
Blade Urban Air Mobility is to offer an expanded service of scheduled flights at the 2025 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), next week in Las Vegas.
Building on the sold-out services of previous years at the show, Blade will offer scheduled by-the-seat transportation between the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and the NBAA-BACE Aircraft Connection at Henderson Executive Airport (HND).
Each flight will accommodate up to seven passengers and enable attendees to experience the benefits of urban air mobility, according to NBAA.
Ed Bolen, president and CEO, NBAA welcomed the renewed partnership with Blade to provide flights between the convention centre and the static exhibit at Henderson airport. “Blade pioneered the urban, by-the-seat vertical transportation model, which will be an essential component of the future of advanced air mobility,” he said.
Rob Wiesenthal, CEO, Blade said the business looked forward to building on its long-standing partnership with NBAA. “Our service between the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Airport highlights the value of vertical transportation by providing attendees with a fast, reliable alternative to ground congestion,” he said.
“NBAA attendees will not only enjoy Blade’s urban air mobility services today using conventional rotorcraft but will also see the quiet and emission-free future with Joby’s static display of its next-generation aircraft,” added Wiesenthal. Blade is now a division of Joby Aviation after its acquisition in August. The deal will accelerate the eVTOL developer’s path to commercialisation of its air taxi services, a spokesperson told Helicopter Investor at the time.
Joby representatives will be available at the check-in area to share plans for introducing electric air taxis into Blade’s network.
Fights are price at $195 per seat for NBAA members and $245 for non-members. In addition to by-the-seat flights, private charters will be available for booking for up to seven guests, starting at $1,875.
The NBAA-BACE event takes place between October 14th to 16th in and around Las Vegas.
