Armed Forces of Malta orders an AgustaWestland AW139
Included in the contract for the single helicopter are two options.
AgustaWestland has announced that the Armed Forces of Malta has signed a contract for one AW139 helicopter plus two options, to perform maritime border patrol and SAR missions.
The first helicopter will be delivered by June 2014 with the acquisition and delivery of the two on option by 2015. The contract also includes a logistics support package and pilot and technical personnel training.
